Mets to Lower Ticket Prices by 20%

After losing key players throughout the season, the New York Mets has struggled losing more than 90 games in the process. Recognizing the interest of the fans, Mets management has decided to cut ticket prices next year.

Season package tickets will be lowered by 10% and some will fall even twice as that. The best value still remains at $11.

The Mets were left with no choice but to lower ticket prices due to the team’s performance. Management felt the need to put in fans in empty seats of Citi Field.

Michael Jackson’s Death Means Concert Refunds?

After the death of King of Pop, Michael Jackson, avid fans who already bought tickets will rush for refunds. Jackson’s concert tour “This Is It” was sold out for 50 shows at London.

The autopsy results for the cause of death of Michael Jackson will take a week or two before it will be out in public.

Ticketmaster said in an official statement that “more information about refunds will follow later today.”

So, if you bought one would you demand a refund?

Season-ticket Holders Losing Their Investment?

Ken Belson of the New York Times wrote that a struggling resale market has affected season-ticket holders this season. They may drop their seats altogether next year or might change their plans to less games or inexpensive seats.
