I dunno why so many people hated this Portland team… yes they did have a few hot heads and trouble-makers… but look at the talent: Pippen, Stoudamire, Smith, Wallace, Sabonis, wells, Ryder…. they did have talent aplenty in the team

i think this is why the lakers have such a hard time winning in portland till this day. . because of this game.. . .but what can say the lakers were the best team then and theyre the best team now as well.. . lol

  12. weowndanight says:

hahaha i was also 9 years old, and let me say , I was a 2 times bigger blazer fan than i am now. Watching Scottie running to the other end of the court with the ball like that is priceless..Sabonis-Sheed-Smith-Pippen-Damon, now that was the Best! thats why i its hard to call our injured team Now good..

  13. aceofking23 says:

I never realized how fortunate Portland was to have Scottie Pippen. Along w/ Stoudamire, Wallace & Sabonis. Steve Smith was real good down the stretch of his career too but Portland was very lucky to get a veteran player in Scotty. I guess i was too young (9) to even recognize how lucky we were. Even after Pippen partnered up w/ Jordan winning 6 rings!! And the Blazers still lost!!! ughh! I don’t wanna remember this day! lol

  14. TheNAMTHEBEST says:

jamaine o’neil become a great player in a few yea,r better than many other blazer that year, except the great pippen

  15. crzybastad says:

Haha did anyone catch young Mike Dunleavy sitting behind the Blazers bench behind Sabonis in 6:36?

  16. wrangloctopus says:

  23. Coolspin09 says:

Man i miss pipen so much he was one of my top ten players.

  24. Road2Wrestlemania says:

I know what you’re saying man. Scottie Pippen was an established superstar and one of the 50 greatest of all time. There is no way that he was a role player, MJ just overshadowed him. Pippen is one of the greatest all time not a damn roleplayer

  25. avinashkunnath says:

Come on Walton…”the greatest roleplayer ever?” Pippen was one of the top 25 players of all time, and now he’s setting him down in Bruce Bowen/Robert Horry status.
