Some of the Laker fans be talking how Boston is an “old team” now. Well in 2008 when they had Sam Cassel and P.J. Brown those dudes were probably pushing 40 or already 40 yrs old. And isn’t Posey an older dawg to. So all because Garnett and Allen are “older” don’t mean they lost their skills or can’t drive to the basket they still got it.

Boston beat the lakers 8 times in a row. 7 of them came in the bill russel era and the 8th came in 84. Lakers beat the C’s in 85 and 87, and the C’s beat the lakers in 08.

Hey KB8SD, I’m trying to maximize my jumping ability by following the training routine over at 50 inch vertical (dot) com – and thus far improved over 8-9 inches so far but I’m even now a bit off from dunking on the rim It’s only my third week thus far, any advices?

@sevendragon So are you making excuses to why they lost that series. Getting sick of all the hype LAL always get the best players year in and year out. When they faced the Pistons one of the best defensive teams ever who held opponents to 70 points 15 times and did it five times in a row they lost that series and people say it was a fluke. Same thing in 2008 Boston was a defensive team and the Lakers got rolled.

that 2006 lakers team had a starting 5 of Kobe, Odom, Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, and Radmanovic.
That is one of the worst starting 5′s to ever make a playoffs. I repeat Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Radmanovic and Luke Walton is your best guy off the bench. They were a 500 team at best and without Kobe that team would have won less than 15 games (Smush Parker, Radmanovic, Chris Mihm, Brian Cook, Kwame).
