  3. cyborgtroy says:

    I have no idea what’s going on here.

    28 years ago and people are still discussing the calls? Good God get a goddamn life. Its just sports.

  5. XRRfan says:

    @abbeywood22 I replayed it over and over and the last lateral DID not go forward you are wrong. The man was behind the ball . Now when the guy was getting tackled he MIGHT have had a knee down but from this far away camera angle its hard to tell . ANyways you can analyze ANY football play and see blown calls, as for this vid i wouldnt blame the officials blame your coach for kicking it short, and YOUr band for rushing the field when the game aint over……

  6. XRRfan says:

    @abbeywood22 what multiple mistakes on the final play are you talking about ? All the laterals were legal. It was Stanford’s band that caused the mistakes. Hell im not a cal or standford fan so i think im pretty objective and i can see how a CAL fan would get goose bumps.

    Dislike people that think if you dont see it how i do your a bonehead…..you sir are the bonehead….

  7. abbeywood22 says:

    @eaglesallday18 Whether you’re a cal or Sooner fan, you still appear to be rather clueless. If you actually got goose bumps from watching this footage, then you’re also a complete and total loser. Grow up and get a life. It would have been a great play if it had been legal. However, it wasn’t. The touchdown was allowed only due to poor officiating and not great play execution.

  8. eaglesallday18 says:

    @abbeywood22
    im a sooner fan moron you have the typical idiot reaction of a stanford fan

  9. abbeywood22 says:

    @eaglesallday18 You have the typical reaction of an idiot cal fan. Pointing out that the officials clearly blew this play on multiple levels does not mean that I’m angry. It means that I can watch the video and spot where calls were missed. The most obvious ones were when the runner was down while he still had the ball at midfield before throwing it back and later when the final lateral went from the 27 to the 26. The play was blown and cal fans can’t accept that their favorite play was bogus.

    @abbeywood22
    hahahahah you really need to calm down. ur probably a fan of stanford and u are just still mad that cal won. that play gave me goose bumps and im not from cal. you need professional help, because you have serious anger issues

  11. SERIOUSLYJAYBLES says:

    @JRFrancisco20088 there’s no evidence that it was down there, they cant tell because of the bad technology then. it just goes how the ref’s ruled it

  12. jizzicle3 says:

    THAAAAAAAAAAAAA bears

  13. JRFrancisco20088 says:

    Who they kidding? That Cal player’s knee was down at the 50. Game over.

  14. universeforce says:

    Awsome finish. It´s like a fatality and ultra finish combo whit humillation.

  15. chosunpeople says:

    @abbeywood22 this shit was like 30 years ago get over it.

  16. nojokenygren says:

    @abbeywood22 I still get goose bumps…

  17. nojokenygren says:

    @abbeywood22 I get goose bumbs

  18. jimmychoi57 says:

    @abbeywood22 Sore loser.

  19. jayfey77 says:

    the stanford band should get the bonehead of the decade,those isiots were on the field before the play and game were even over,its a shame that cali player didnt hit more than one of those idiots on his way to the touchdown.

  20. justbehappydammit says:

    No, Stanford costs more because it’s a PRIVATE university, as opposed to a PUBLIC university. It has nothing to do with quality. And quarterbacks aren’t the only measure of a football team’s success. There’s more to a team than just a quarterback, after all.

  23. USERNAMEKLEMPTOR says:

    imagine if that was a bcs championchip game

  24. avivazip says:

    It cracks me up every time I see it. Truly awesome. The main question is if Garner was down when he pitched it back to Rodger. We will never know. This uncertainty just makes the play more amazing. Due to instant replay we will never see an ending like this. That is why this play will stand as the greatest ever!

  25. Asylum31 says:

    Yes, that John Elway.
